The Bain wireframe shelf was initially created to address the challenge of creating strong horizontal lines in a galley kitchen where upper cabinets were interrupted by windows and clearance requirements. The designer's solution was to reduce the visual mass by using a thin frame structure, resulting in a visually light and elegant design.

What sets the Bain shelf apart is its versatility. Designed for various residential or commercial applications, this wall shelf can be mounted under upper storage cabinets or independently on the wall. The 12x12mm frame profile can be finished in a wide range of colors, allowing for customization to suit any interior design scheme. The shelves, made from laminated oak, are oil finished for a natural texture and color.

One of the standout features of the Bain shelf is its integrated LED lighting. The non-directional lighting illuminates both upwards and downwards, making it suitable for countertop illumination in a kitchen environment or as a display shelf in a retail setting. The lighting is fully concealed, adding to the design's refined appearance and creating a floating effect on the wall.
